CANU Seizes a Quanity of Cocaine • On Monday, 15th September 2025, CANU Officers, acting on information received, Conducted an operation at a residence located at Lot 42 “F”, Hadfield Street, Georgetown. A subsequent search of the residence led to the discovery of a quantity of cocaine.• Clarence Jones and Carlos Garraway were arrested and escorted to CANU Headquarters, along with the quantity of cocaine, which weighed 1.172 kilograms. • Investigations are ongoing.

He was sentenced to three (3) yearsimprisonment and fined GYD$30,000.

A subsequent search of the residence led to the discovery of a quantity of cannabis.• Four (4) suspects were arrested and escorted to CANU Headquarters, along withthe quantity of cannabis, which weighed 4.078 kilograms.• Investigations are ongoing.
