On Wednesday, 11th June 2025, CANU Officers, acting on information received,
conducted an operation on David Street Kitty, Georgetown, where they intercepted a
motorcar. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed several parcels containing a
whitish powdery substance suspected to be cocaine. 

 The suspects were arrested and escorted to CANU headquarters along with the
suspected narcotic, which tested positive for cocaine and weighed 21.972 kilograms. 

 Investigations are ongoing.
