On Wednesday, 22nd October 2025, CANU Officers, acting on information received, conducted an operation at a residence located in Home Place, South Ruimveldt Park, Georgetown. A subsequent search of the residence led to the discovery of several parcels containing a whitish powdery substance suspected to be cocaine.
Five (5) suspects were arrested and escorted to CANU Headquarters, along with the suspected narcotic, which tested positive for cocaine and weighed a total of 5.970 kilograms.
Investigations are ongoing.
