Please be informed that on Friday, June, 2024, Mark Anthony Thomas appeared before Magistrate Gibbs at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court, where he pleaded not guilty for the offenses of possession of a narcotic to wit 4.5 grams of cocaine and the obstruction of a CANU officer during the execution of his duties. He was granted bail in the sum of GY $60,000 in relation to the charge of obstruction of a CANU officer during the execution of his duties but was refused bail and remanded to prison until August 2, 2024, in relation to the charge of possession of a narcotic.
