• On Thursday, 22nd January 2026, CANU Officers, acting on information received,

conducted an operation at a residence located at Lot 108 David Rose Street, Bagotville,

West Bank Demerara. A subsequent search of the residence revealed a quantity of

cannabis and ecstasy.

• Prince Bagot, age sixty-one (61), a businessman of the said address, was arrested

and escorted to CANU Headquarters, along with the narcotics, which weighed 912 grams

(cannabis) and 11 grams (ecstasy) respectively.

• Investigations are ongoing.
