On Tuesday 16th January 2024, CANU Officers conducted an operation in the East Ruimveldt area, where they observed a male carrying a bulky salt bag. Upon seeing the CANU Officers, the male dropped the said bag and made good his escape. A subsequent search of the bag revealed a 12-gauge shotgun and 5 matching rounds of ammunition.
