On Friday, 3 rd October 2025, CANU Officers, acting on information received, conducted an intelligence led operation at #74 Koker, Corentyne Berbice. A subsequent search of the
surrounding area led to the discovery of seven (7) large black plastic bags which contained leaves, seed and stems suspected to be cannabis. The quantity of suspected cannabis were subsequently escorted to CANU’s Skeldon Headquarters, which was weighed in the presence of CANU’s officers and amounted to 111.8 kilograms. Investigations are ongoing.
