Please be informed that on today’s date, Kabir Samsoondar appeared before Magistrate Daly at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court, where he was sentenced to thirty-five (35) months imprisonment together with a fine of GYD$ 1,733,000 and 1,788,000 for the offences of possession of 1.182kgs and 1.192kgs of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
