Please be informed that on Wednesday, 19^th March 2025, Mark Barclay appeared before Magistrate
Hardy at the No.51 Magistrate’s Court, where he pled guilty to the offense of
possession of 18 grams of cannabis and 131 grams of cocaine for the purpose of
trafficking. He was sentenced to three (3) years and four (4) months
imprisonment. Barclay was arrested following an operation conducted by CANU
Officers at a residence in Orealla Village, Region 6, where a quantity of
cocaine and cannabis was uncovered.  The
Unit remains resilient in its commitment to preventing the flow of narcotics
throughout the country. We continue to work diligently to uphold our mandate
and ensure the safety and well-being of our communities.
