On Friday, 10th January 2025, Wendez Pompey appeared before Magistrate Azore at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court, where he pleaded not guilty to possession of 1.1562 kilograms of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. 

He was refused bail, and the matter was adjourned until 21st February 2025.
